Miguel Amell is your type. Hailing from the Dominican Republic, Miguel’s pop music blends genres and languages to craft a sound that transcends borders, exploring his own struggles with sexuality and acceptance, all culminating in intimate spectacle. Miguel recently premiered TU TYPE, his senior recital at the Roc Nation School of Music, to overwhelmingly positive reviews. Along with the show, he released “Rompe la rutina”, the second single off of his debut EP, releasing this summer. Bringing his signature sazón to stages in his home country and New York City, the singer, songwriter, dancer and multi-instrumentalist is pushing Spanish-language pop towards greater global recognition, following in the footsteps of icons like Ricky Martin.
